Whitney King is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and EMDR-trained therapist who founded the Richmond, Kentucky extension of Kentucky Trauma Therapists. Whitney is deeply committed to addressing the unique challenges faced by individuals living in rural Kentucky, where access to quality mental health resources can often be limited.

Whitney understands firsthand the generational impact of trauma and poverty on Kentucky families and communities. She specializes in trauma-informed care for individuals who have experienced homelessness, domestic violence, child abuse, and natural disasters. Her compassionate, grounded approach helps clients process painful experiences while developing tools to move forward with strength and self-compassion.
