"Hi all, I'm Sydney - I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Kentucky with my pup Sir Rainey. As a Queer and Neurodivergent therapist, my passion lies in serving folks in the LGBTQIA+/ND communities, whether that be coping skills for Anxiety/Depression, finding diagnoses for unexplained or overlooked symptoms, or finding themselves through goal setting and increased self-acceptance.

I have strived for experience in various roles over the last 5 years, such as school social work, outpatient services, crisis units, and psychiatric hospitals. My style is an eclectic mash of techniques to further explore our session topics: using Attachment-Based, Family Systems, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused to name a few.

I predominantly work with adolescents and young adults (10-30 years old) but have experience with all ages. My clients can start at any point and I will meet them where they are, whether that is not knowing where to begin or knowing exactly their therapy goals!

I accept most insurances as well as cash pay - I am willing to discuss a sliding scale if needed. My current goals are to complete my certificate in Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) for OCD and EMDR Advanced Skills Training in areas of Neurodivergent Informed Treatment (ASD/ADHD), Ego States Integration and Bridging IFS, and Spiritual Trauma/Religious Abuse to continue my growth in Evidence-Based, Trauma-Informed care! "

Groups starting in January 2026 with a focus on Existential Therapy, Chronic Illness and Pain, Grief and Life Changes, Neurodivergent Adults, and Parents of Neurodivergent Children/Adolescents (group topics/populations subject to change - more information December 2025)
