Therapist at Kentucky Trauma Therapists – Russellville, KY

Mackenzie Kennedy is a Certified Social Worker who provides trauma-informed, compassionate care to youth, young adults, and adults at Kentucky Trauma Therapists. Mackenzie is trained in both Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), allowing her to offer evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs.

Mackenzie played a key role in expanding services to Russellville, Kentucky, where she opened and leads the local office for Kentucky Trauma Therapists. Before earning her Master of Social Work degree, Mackenzie completed her clinical field placement with Kentucky Trauma Therapists, where she developed her passion for trauma-informed care and holistic healing.

 

Mackenzie provides individual, couples, and family therapy, with a focus on treating the family unit as a whole. Her approach is rooted in warmth, empathy, and collaboration, creating a safe and supportive space for clients to process experiences, strengthen relationships, and build lasting emotional wellness.
